Just Arrived!!! Baby veiled from Brad Ramsey

Here he is...... A male baby veiled from forum member Brad Ramsey. One of his Oggie / Green Bean babies. His name is Chazu. Cha - sounds like the "ca" in cat, Zu - sounds like zoo

He's friendlier than my other baby was right out of the box, maybe I'll get lucky and he'll stay that way. Sorry bout the large pictures, I was excited, didn't take the time to resize them.(resizing done)

I will do that. I'll have to post twice as many pics now since there are 2 of them growing. His eyes don't have any where near as evil look as my other cham when I was taking pics. This is my other cham when I first got him, you can see the hatred, and trying to hide from me and my camera.

That is a great looking little boy. Nice eyes and coloring. I love the next to last picture where he is looking back at you like "after all this you are leaving me?" How old is he?

That is so cool! His mom is friendly after she out of her cage. you can see newer photos of the parents on my profile.:)

Brad gave me an aproximate hatch date of March 8th, so just about 2 months. He is super friendly compared to my other cham, I can go stick my hand in there now and he'll climb right on. I think he was sad for me to put him down in his plant. It might be because I am warm too though.....

My other cham, never has been on me, wants nothing to do with me. He does recognize his feed cup though, that is the only time he will head in my direction, but if I go to reach up under him to try to pick him up. He turns around and "runs" away, he'll stay away until I close his cage door, then "run" right back to the feeder cup.

I'm glad he arrived safely.
Do please keep us updated on his progress.
This clutch is a sturdy, healthy bunch ... he should do well for you!

You can be sure I'll do that, I post random photo threads up here every now and then, or I'll just go add photos to one of my old threads. Did anyone else here on the forums get one from you??

Aww! You must have been so excited opening that box! Thank you so much for sharing the excitement with us!! :D All I can say is ... I WANT ONE!!! The pics are amazing.

My little 5 MP point and shoot did a pretty good job this time. He was also more photogenic than my other cham has ever been, it made it a lot easier. I was gonna get a Canon XSI, but decided to spend the money on this little guy and cham related items instead.... Guess that DSLR is still on the wish list for now. Maybe in a few months.

I take all Lily's pics on a 6.1MP camera. I know I'd rather have another cham than a super-duper camera any day! :D I think you spent your money very wisely!!! :D

Yes, I sold two siblings of yours to two other forum members.
The rest are going to the show with me on Saturday.

He's not in anything fancy right now, just a 10g with a large pothos pot and a couple fake leafy vines. I know alot of people don't like glass, but for this small it's much easier for me to control humidty and temp. without cooking or drowning him with the auto misters. I'll spray him by hand for at least a month. For those concerned about drainage. I have a glass bit, and the tank is drilled with a piece of screen hot glued over the hole. The 10g fits inside my new large cage,it drains into it, and it all gets drained into a container. If you absolutely must see it, here's a pic.
