Today Jose had his first vet checkup and I think I was more nervous than he was
. The car ride was way easier than I thought it would be, instead of having him in a shoebox I thought it would be better to let him crawl around the car a bit (watching him the entire time, of course) and crank up the heat. Most of the time he sat on the dashboard and watched the cars drive by and watched the windshield wipers go back an forth
. When we got to the vet's we sat at the waiting area for about 15 minutes and when we were sitting there he was just chillin' on my shoulder hangin' out. All of the little kids picking up their animals were staring like it was the coolest thing in the world. When the vet finally came and got us she was surprised on how good he looked, apparently there isn't much chameleon owners that want to take care of them properly... She told me about how he was the biggest and most colorful chameleon she's ever seen. That helped me calm my nerves down a bit
. After we got down to talking she told me that the burn I was concerned about was just his coloring and there is nothing to be worried about. Right now the poo that I took in is being tested and I will get a call to see the results in a few days.
So that's all that really happened in his visit, but now the important part, pictures! I only got pictures of him in the car, but they are still interesting
