I'm officially a crazy animal lady!!!! :D

She's only been here 5 days and she's already ruined!!!

Got into a nice routine with her, which seems to be working great:

Morning (After I've sorted Simba):

Change food, water and hay and pick up pee n poo before work.

Evening (After coming home from work, walking the pups and Simba's last spray):

Do another pee n poo pick up (as she's indoors for the Winter so don't want the house smellin o' bunny pee!! ;)), then I've been getting her out for a cuddle and letting her have half an hour running round in the spare room where her bunny pad is. Stimulation and exercise!!
She's so funny and getting used to us already. Proper little mischief!
Love it when she gets a little frisk on and goes beltin round the room, skipping and hopping all over...she really seems to enjoy her little self!!

Then its back into her pad where I've put her veg for the day. She's had allsorts already!! (Not all at once obviously, different 3 things every day for variety and just a bit of each ;))

Clover
Cabbage (little bit-as I know too much can cause tummy upsets and GAS! LOL)
Carrot
Apple
Basil
Parsley
Cucumber
Tomato
Cauliflower leaves
Broccolli

Not that she's spolied or anything!!! LOL

I'm going to go and try and get some Timothy hay for her 2mrw as the Meadow hay I've got is crap!! She doesn't seem that interested in it and I need to make sure she's eating plenty hay daily!!

I could watch her all day...she's so beautiful. I've always been amazed by Rex Rabbits. Their fur is just stunning!! :D

Wow she is a super pretty rabbit, I love her. I really want a rabbit but I don't have the space for the size cage I'd want. And I'd want to free range her a while during the day to run but I'm not sure what my dog (soon to be dogS) will think. Perhaps later. But they're adorable!

Awww, she reminds me of the New Zealand Red rabbit I had when I was young. Rabbits are great pets!

Thanks everyone.

She's such a little character.

Managed to get her a bale of Timothy hay today which she can't get enough of AND she was eating it out of my hand this evening. To be honest I was tempted to have a nibble!! LOL It smells gorgeous!

She's so friendly. I love her to bits. Nice to have summat to cuddle!! LOL

Had a little frisk about and a run and played with the new straw playball things I got her today too.

Then back home for some babycorn, basil and brocolli :p

Just rang Pet Partners, where I got her, as it just occured to me I don't know how old she is.

They said she'll be about 10 weeks old this week, as the litter came in at about 6 weeks old, then she was at the shop for about 2 weeks before I went and got her last Wednesday.

I know Rex rabbits can get quite big, but she doesn't seem very 'babyish' and seems quite big for such a young age.

I thought she was older than that. What do you think looking at her?

Hey there, how's your rabbit doing? I have a lilac mini rex named Velvet, and 4 other bunnies too :)

Are you planning on getting her spayed? Female rabbits have an extremely high chance of getting a reproductive cancer by age 3 and passing away. I have all mine spayed/neutered and bonded together. They are such great pets!! It also lets them be easier to litter-train, and you can avoid having false pregnancies as well. Also, females can get really territorial and aggressive so especially in a female it's very important to get her spayed.

Please check out and join the house rabbit community at Binkybunny.com !! The members there would love to meet you and your rabbit and help you on your journey of bunny ownership :)
