Hey guys i was just wondering about the color of our baby jackson. I see a lot of adult jacksons have varying colors. Most of the leaves that my jackson are around are greenish yellow and that seeems like the color he turns.

If we were to put blue leaves in his cage, i know it sounds ridiculous, but if we put blue leaves in his cage would that affect his color, thanks.

No though it might change the way his colors appear to be because of the reflected light.
Chameleons' color is related to mood, health and temperature.
Flounder change color and pattern to match background. Chams don't.

Jacksons are primarily green and yellow in varying shades. I only see my Monty's stress colours (dark green with pale green triangles along his sides) when he sees my cat. The rest of the time he is always a lovely vibrant green, but I sometimes see yellow on his turrets and round his neck/along his sides. He also has the most amazing teal/blue patch under his chin, which I love. A Jackson's beauty is in his horns rather than his colour. I love mine to bits, he's a fantastic little fella! :D

i can't wait to get my jackson, ordered a cage yesterday.
soon as it is set up i will order,
hopefully chameleonsnorthwest will still have one
