hi this is my first time posting. I'm fairly new chameleon owner and this is my first time posting so please bear with me lol. I recently purchased a male jackson's chameleon, Mr. Moustafa. He's currently set up and a medium reptibreeze screened in enclosure as soon as I get the funds I will be buying him a larger one. In the meantime I'd like to make him as comfortable as possible. He has plenty of foliage and Vines to climb in Hide in as well as a dripper and meal worm dish. I have both the UVB bulb and a 60 W daylight blue zoomed bulb on top of his cage. His temps range from 85-72. Is looking fairly healthy and getting around fine however he only turns, calm shades of green when he is sleeping or just woken up , as soon as I turn on the lights he gets his black and brown spots. I've tried everything I can from rearranging his cage to just letting him be so he can get comfy but he won't go completely green like he's comfortable. I'm not sure if it's too hot in there or if he's just getting acclimated to his new home. Any tips of advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
