Jacksons Chameleon stressed in cage?

Hello everyone! I signed up here because I am possibly in need of some help. I have a 6 month old male Jacksons Chameleon. Whenever he is in his cage he is a dark brown/green, but the temperature in the cage is a cozy 75 degrees with a 55-60% humidity. But as soon as I take him out and let him explore, he turns a vivid bright green with some blue patterns on him.
Is something stressing him out? Should I redo the cage set up or add some live plants?

The picture is his current cage setup.

Pothos also grow pretty fast, and make sure you repot it with something that doesn't have any chemicals in it.

Quick update. Just bought a small pathos plant and put it on the bottom of the cage, and am waiting for the vines to grow out. I re arranged the entire cage with more branches and cover.
He's still not quite a lime green, but I think hes not used to the new habitat quite yet, I'll give him a few days.
