They need heat to digest their food so they should be fed early in the day so they have time to digest and it doesn't just sit undigested in their stomachs all night. And disrupting their sleep cycle is not a good idea. Better to wait until the next morning to feed him instead. And apples and bananas are not sufficient for healthy gutloading. Avoid anything high in oxalates or goitrogens. Fruits by themselves are low in nutrients and high in sugar - neither of which are good for your cham.
