is there more then one species of Jackson’s?

There are a few sub-species.

The three subspecies, including the nominate, are:

• T. j. jacksonii (Boulenger, 1896) – Jackson's chameleon
• T. j. merumontanus (Rand, 1958) – dwarf Jackson's chameleon
• T. j. xantholophus (Eason, Ferguson & Hebrard, 1988) – yellow-crested Jackson's chameleon

There are also other species with different numbers of horns.

He’s a real beauty! Welcome to the forum! I have a Jackson’s xanthalophus. Thats another subspecies. Everyone here is very helpful should you have any questions about care and husbandry. Jacksjill is a wealth of information!

Jackson's babies do best if raised in individual cages before very long. There are several threads on here on how to make some DIY mini cages. You will need fruit flies, bean beetles and eventually pinhead crickets.
