its been a crazy ride...

Hi everyone,

How long have you waited?

A year ago I've been on lists. I just wanted a male.
I was willing to do my homework. Read everything.
Ask questions, beg for more info. Do what it takes...
The months go by.
Eggs die, whole clutches wiped out.
The months go by.
I decide that this wait is too long and get at least a pair and breed them.
The months go by.
I buy a female WC two months ago, she's graved.
The months go by.
Laurie's 2nd clutch hatches out 9 babies. Great news.
I even get the latest news on the babies each day.
My female on the other hand, is gona make me wait like every girlfriend does when you're starving.

But I got lucky today. I just ordered a WC male Quad.
Unlike the WC female, he just came in. I know I'm entering the big boy department.
No joke folks. This is no longer the little leagues.
I have put aside a few dollars for a trip to the vet. No matter what it takes.
His humidifier will run across two cages. The other cage is for the female procrastinator.
I have two new plants for him. Everything is ready to go by tomorrow night.

Is the wait is almost over?
Could I be really be getting my first quad on Tuesday?
Come on, everybody do the happy dance with me.

Ok Harry, I told you I am the official quad person of the forum. Here you go getting a male and have a female purschased ++++ you are getting 1?? of mine? What is wrong with this picture. You were way too happy when you called to gloat that you will have a male and I don't. Now I guess instead of me telling you about my quad bebies every day I will have to listen to you go on & on about your quad. Life is soooooooooo unfair. Congratulations and yes I will be here to help you along. I hate this turn about is fair play stuff.

Don't suppose you're getting him from LLL? If so, I just saw their batch and the males looked real good. Especially one that was subadult but super colorful and healthy looking.

Sadly LLL posted the ad a drop too late. I got him off of kingsnake.
The guy selling the pairs. I'm only getting a male though.

First of all it's two babies, not 1.
That would mean you are keeping 4 babies, and that's not happening.
Don't make me have to fly out to your house so Luis can hold you down while I pack up the babies. Hehe

Did you just slander JET??? My sweet little girl and you are mean to her! You better be glad those babies are Tuffy's and not Jet's, she would not let you near them after that crack. I will ask Tuffy but even she may have raised baby prices -for you - to about $500 each... you can't afford them. Those girls stick together.
