Is it the one that came with the fixture? If so I would replace it with a Zoomed Reptisun 5.0-the bulb in there is not a very good one.

could i use a exo-terra 5.0? (the pet store doesnt have zoomed)

Yes-it will just need to be replaced at 6 months. I usually get 9 out of Zoomeds.
