Is this ok?? Or will it hurt him

So Loki (6 month old Veiled Chameleon male) is shedding again....I had him out last night and he was rubbing his face on my finger trying to get the skin off his eyes....he was rubbing them really hard and I'm afraid he will hurt his eyes doing this....he did it again this morning when I put his crickets in before I left for work...my hand was in the cage and he ran right up and started rubbing his face on the side of my hand....I gave him a good misting yesterday to help with his shed, is it ok to let him do this???? Cause I know your not supposed to pull the shedding skin off of them....thanks

Aww, that is sweet. As long as you are letting him do all the work there is no problem. He probably prefers your warm hand to a branch

I get freaked out when my guy rubs his eyes on sticks when he sheds. Nothing's happened yet so I'm sure it's safe.

I was kinda guessing that since he is the one doing it he should know if it hurts or not lol...but you never know, since even I do things that I know are bad yet I still do them

He is becoming such a suck with me..he doesn't seem to like anyone else....he goes all dark and spotted when anyone else goes by the terrarium but he goes his nice green when its me...what can I say, he loves his mama
