Hey, my chameleon keeps walking all over the tank and occasionally comes to the front and tries to scratch the glass- whether or not she wants to come out but, it's making me upset I want her to be happy. She's fed everyday, watered frequently and is always kept at her optimum temperature, and she's got a laying bin. So I'm wandering if she's ok ?:(

fill this out maybe we can all give some input..

Well she lives in a cage with the front being glass and is well ventilated with vents either side of her cage. She's fed crickets which are dusted every time with calcium and a calcium balancer and is fed till she wants no more. I handle her to bring her into the garden when it's war and to weigh her. When she scratches at the cage, I let her come out on her own accord and when iam holding her she just sits there looking round (not at me). She is just coming up to ten months old and yes I see her drink she looks really cute :) Urmmm she feed off me rather than out a box. She's not one In which will flare up if you go near her. I'm not sure on cage size but she's in her adult cage and has a centre branch with umbrella plants and devils ivy (which she sleeps in) is there any thing else I could add? Ohhh and my problem is she keeps passing up and down her cage and occasionally scratchs the glass :(

What species? is the rest of the Viv wood? how much is screen? What is the size of her adult cage?
A bigger screen cage will almost certainly solve this, from the info. so far.........

what is the size of the cage?
what do you mean by fed a calcium balancer till she doesent want anymore?
what do you feed your crickets?
what is the lighting that you have?
what do you mean feed from a box?

please copy and paste the help list, and put your answers in for all of them, we need ALL info to adequateley help your chameleon and you.:D

Calcium balancer - I do not feed her on this it's a substance I mix with the calcium to dust the crickets and I don't know her spesies, our breeder never told us. And I feed my crickets apples, potatoes, cereal, carrots and celery. I'm not sure on dimensions as my dad built it :/. The fed out a box basically if I was to offer a box the her with crickets in she wouldn't eat them but she will happily be hand fed :) lighting is a uv and a 100 watt heat lamp. The temperature is at 25 degrees

Measure the cage? You don't know species? I know you're only 16, so I should be patient, but it really would help if you answer the f'in' questions, man :)

Post pictures!
