Chameleon Info:
• Your Chameleon - 3.25 inches, Rufus, Male Veiled Baby Chameleon, app. 5 weeks old
• Handling - About once a day
• Feeding - 7-13 1/8 inch crickets
• Supplements - Rep Cal Calcium with Vit. D3 and Herptivite Multivitamin and Mineral Powder every other day sprinkled on carrots and lettuce for the crickets. Just placed an order for Rep-Cal Calcium w/o D3.
• Watering - Dripper every other 2 days, Exo Terra 2liter Mister. I spray about 4-5 times a day for about 30 seconds each time.
Cage Info:
• Cage Type - Reptibreeze Open Air Screen Cage 16x16x30
• Lighting - Zoo med fixture w Repti Sun Florescent Linear 18" 5.0 15w T8 UVB/UVA and Flukers fixture with 40w daylight bulb. From 8 am to 8 pm it's on.
• Temperature - Around 86, its been getting so hot, so I turn of the daylight bulb when it gets around 90 or 85.
• Humidity - 60 most of the time
• Plants - 3 fake plants, 2 fake vines, one Ficus Tree, sticks from outside that were washed
• Placement - In my bedroom where the light hits on top of a long shelf
• Location - Bethesda, Maryland USA
History: We haven't had power for 5 days because of a storm. Rufus hasn't had UVB for 5 days. Now he does (last night). I still have been feeding him, spraying him and the temps have been around 87.
How am I doing?
Thanks, Dominic
