Is this a reliable breeder?

So I've been looking for a certain type of chameleon for awhile now. After months of searching I finally found a breeder that has the chameleon for cheap.

That is the website. I was referred there by another breeder and said they have bought several chameleons from the above website and it was great.

I was just curious if anybody has heard of this site before.

I sent the guy a email to ask a few questions before I actually bought one, but I haven't heard back yet.

I'm just nervous because I have heard of chameleon breeders that have ripped people off in the past.

I purchased my female Nosy Be from them. She's very pretty and very aggressive. She isn't friendly but she dose eat anything I put into her cage. She even runs down crickets.

She's laid 4 clutches of eggs but I have yet to mate her. I think I will breed her this year.

Only problem I have is she hates me.

I have no problems with them

If you want a good looking nosy be, I strongly suggest you save a little more and buy from a quality bloodline. I have heard good things about the health of the chameleon companies animals and their business practices, but their bloodlines are a not the best looking IMO.

The thing is that for better or worse, The Cham Co. uses heavily wild caught stock, so their animals show the more wild-type coloration than a bloodline that has been refined through the generations would. So if you want the solid neon blue, "true blue" Nosy Be, then they may not be for you (and in that case look through the site sponsors here, many of which do breed them). But if you enjoy the diversity or prefer the look of the more natural Nosy Bes, with red spots, more turquoise, and maybe with some yellow, then he's a good source.

At any rate, feel safe knowing that Jim has been in business forever and has excellent customer service. You can buy from him with confidence, in my opinion.
