Is this a parasite or a worm from the garden?

While cleaning a cage I found this worm. It may be from the soil the plant was in or may be a parasite. The toothpick is to show size.

I found a worm last year and was told it was a red something, that came form the soil and is harmless. i just need to know if anyone knows before I spend $80 getting told it was from my soil like last summer.

Yes, that is what the vet said last year, a red wiggler. So that is something that can come out of my soil and is not a parasite?

he comes from the earth! your cham could actually eat it, if you and he were so inclined... :D

Why oh why do i rotate plants outside? This same thing happened before and I went into a panic thinking one of my chams could be sick. Thanks all, as you can see all my chams are expected to remain happy and healthy or they are going to have a hovering Mommy, until they are better.

That is nothing like what, I found. Mine was more colored and next to the poop. I an super happy my little girl is ok.

Miss Lilly, you cannot imagine how happy it makes me that you posted pictures of your gecko's worm infested poop. There are somethings one only gets to see as a member of this board. (I'm being serious! I think it's absolutely hysterically wonderful that people freely post pictures of poop...good poop, bad poop, weird poop and, yes, infested poop!)
