My Cham just pooped this hard white kinda plastic or cartilage he's been kind of sick, he dosent open his eyes and he dosent eat. I've been feeding him with a seringe. Can anyone help? Comments or suggestions as what the white thing is? Thx.
Can this sperm plug be the reason for my chams sickness?
Pictures of the cham would also be helpful.
He gets natural day light in the afternoons from my balcony (this is were he lives). i live in Miami and temperatures can get a little high in the afternoons...
but since he cant see he hasnt been able to drink any water...Just now i was able to give him some water with the seringe....how much water should they consume on a daily basis?
Have you thought about taking to a Vet.?
There's alot of variables that come into play. I would guess best way of delivering water to him would be in form of a misting system at this point. Allowing small droplets to form from above, to hopefully stimulate him to drink. But not too much water: can lead to URI. I think a Miami summer can do some serious damage to a cham confined to a cage. I'd move him indoors. Not living in Miami, I have do idea how much natural rainfall your guy might be receiving. Forcing food and water on him only adds to the stress he's going through. Once dehydrated, animal is far more likly to stop eating, until he gets the body liguids up.
