Is this a calcium supplement?

yes, but it also has D3 in it. how much, I'm not sure.
I would only use something like that once or twice a month for the D3.

sadly, petco has crap here in the NY area as for dusting feeders.
at least nothing better then what you are linking to.

a better product to get is rep-cal plain calcium.
use it almost every day.

you can also buy other dusts like rep-cal calcium w/D3, miner-all without D3, and rep-cal herptivite from LLLreptile.com

use the plain calcium almost every day, then use the other dusts once or twice a month.

it says it uses a source of d3 not a small amount? what does that mean?

each company uses different amounts of D3 in it.
an example is, miner-all with D3 has less D3 in it then say rep-cal calcium with D3 in it. (sorry, I forgot the amounts off hand)

personaly, even indoor chameleons need almost no calcium with D3 in it.
they get most of what they need from a simle reptisun 5.0 bulb.
since they get most of what they need from the bulb, they only need a small boost once in a while from dust. (say once or twice a month)

DON'T OVER DO IT ON THE D3 WITH DUSTING!!!
D3 is stored in the liver and too much can shut it down.
let your chameleon deside when he needs more D3 by giving him plenty of climbing areas bellow the bulb...some near it, some far away.

again, I'm not a big fan of flukers or t-rex products that they sell in petco.
there are far better products on the market that you can get for far cheaper online.

here are the links to what I use:

rep-cal calcium, should be used almost every feeding (untill he's an adult)...will last you forever.

rep-cal calcium w/D3, should be used once a month...will last you forever.
has 400,00 IU/Kg of D3 in it.
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...cleaners/-/repcal-ultra-fine-calcium-with-d3/

reptivite w/D3, a multi vitamin that has 22.907 IU/Kg of D3 in it. it also has pre formed vitamin A in it.
should be used only once per month, or twice per month if you deside not to use rep-cal calcium w/D3...will last you forever as well.
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...ge-cleaners/-/zoo-med-reptivite-with-d3-2-oz/

miner-all (O), outdoor formula that has no D3 in it. I would use this twice per month even for adult chams...I am a huge belever that our chams need this product for heathy bone and muscule growth.

remember, all the dusts listed are just to help give your chameleon a boost to what it is not getting from well gutloaded feeders.
gutloading is far more important then dusting.
I normaly only dust my morning feeders as I mostly feed silkies and butters in the evening.
if I do feed crickets or superworms in the evening, then I might still skip dusting if they have had great amounts of calcium rich food...if not I dust them.

when my guy gets to be about 13 months old, I'll only dust twice a week, when he eats 4 times a week.
when about 2 years old, I might only dust once a week.
