Im concerned for our baby girl. We have been both working all day and we just arrived. And we see her like this.... we immediately mist her cage and fed her once early today. As I gently try to mist around her. I notice she wasn't aware of me... but was slowly drinking the mist in the air.... please help!

Hi. Unless the lights are off and the room is dark, baby is quite sick. Can you post some pics of her entire enclosure, including lights? What are you feeding her and how much? What supplements are you using and how often? Has she ever been tested for parasites?

It was dark in this room as I arrived. Plus her uvb 5.0 light was automatically shut off around 9pm. And her basking light shuts off around 5-6pm. She has a 16"×16"×30" enclosure. *Medium size*

Nor as she tested for parasite.

If it was fully dark, then she is sleeping. Not sure I understand what the concern is.
Got it! We will keep monitoring her tonight. But today was the first time we were away from the house for almost the whole day. We only came back to feed her Dubai roaches and 3 meal worms. Then turned off her basking light. After that we just returned home and found her like that. Never seen her like this before especially as first timers owners. Thank you!!!

When it gets dark, chameleons go to sleep. They will wake up once it’s light, but it’s best to let them sleep thru the night for about 12 hours. It is best to feed early in the day, so they have plenty of time to bask and heat up enough to properly digest their food. Little ones like yours should be getting as much as they can eat in about a 15 minute time. Veileds grow fast and need lots of nutrition to do it. Mealworms aren’t great choices, but dubia are. Attaching a graphic on feeders for you and what to feed them so they will be healthy and nutritious for your cutie. It is always good to be alert for changes and ask if you don’t know. :) As you have done. ;)
