Is my chameleon ready to lay eggs

My chameleon has not been eating and it’s been at the bottom of the cage a lot is it getting ready to lay eggs if so should I use co co fiber and sand or just co co fiber?

Yeah she’s definitely getting there.
I’ve heard a lot better reviews on just the coco fiber.
But I guess really any could work.
Use something that has less wood in it though. Wood could poke them in the eye and give them infections.
 
Eh I know many that still eat when they are about to lay.
Just keep watching her and go ahead and put the coco fiber in the bottom. She’s definifely looking like she’s close.
 
She just ate 2 meal worms but she has been showing other signs of laying eggs

You should not ever be feeding her mealworms. They are nutritionally useless and difficult to digest, leading to impaction and sometimes death. Avoid them at all costs - superworms are a better substitute
