Is my chameleon just really happy?

I have a young veiled chameleon who almost never changes colors. She's always a light green. Is this because she's sick? Or is she just really happy all the time. She's even like this when I hold her. When I did my research before getting her it said they don't much like being held, so I only hold her when I move her into her critter carrier when I clean out her terrarium. It just struck me as odd that she doesn't freak out, and that her body doesn't puff-up or get REALLY skinny, she's just really chill all the time. So it has me wondering if she's sick, or just unusually docile? Thanks!
