So Jose's veil has been pretty shiny lately, and I'm not sure if it's burnt or not. I felt it and it didn't feel wet to me, he kinda jerked away afterwards to.
Is his veil burnt?

Why would you suspect a burn?

I don't really know why I think it's a burn, lol.
He does sit at the top of his cage a lot of the time, maybe that's it.
I'll try and get a good picture, I'm not sure if my camera will pick it up though.

i was wondering the same question about my veiled chameleon because he is showing a lot of black coloring in his nose and veil and under belly. not sure if his colors. i think it might even be darker when he sleep...hes about 8-9months
