Is he stressed?

Lastnight for about a 15 min period he kept making a hiss noise over and over when nobody was even near his cage. Earlier that day he was showing some spots and when I went to take the pic he showed them a little more trying to make sure he is happy and figure out his "do's and don'ts"

How old is he? You can usually tell by their colors. Plus they will also kind of puff up when they are irritated. Most likely it sounds like something spooked him a bit.

He seems to be fine, that wasn't for very long. He just gets a little grumpy during misting and pictures.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male veiled, in my care for a little under a week
Handling - Very little, for arranging enclosure/shower
Feeding - He eats about 15 crickets a day 7 or so at about 10am and 7 more at about 6pm. Gutloaded w/ Zilla cricket drink w cal, raw carrots, hibiscus blooms and spinach. I throw in an occasional mealworm and he also gets houseflies and wc grasshoppers quarantined for 1 night.
Supplements - Miner-all cal w/o d3 daily,repcal herptivite multi twice a month, zoomed reptical w d3 twice a month.
Watering - Mist 4-5 times a day for 3-4 min periods. He definitely drinks a lot but he gets frustrated w fake vines not retaining water very well
Fecal Description - Droppings look good w a slight orangish urate. He has not been tested.
History - I got him at petsmart...bad conditions but he seems a lot happier and getting healthier.

Cage Type - repti breeze 18x18x36
Lighting - Reptisun 5.0 UVB and exo terra sunglo 60w
Temperature - 95 basking 78 lowest
Lowest overnight 65 been checking for last 5 days
Humidity - My humidity is very low I have to mist to get above 15% then it bumps to 55-70%. Working on DIY fogger, and mist king. Also going to plastic off 2 sides
Plants - Are you using live plants? Yes If so, what kind? Hibiscus, petunia and coleus
Placement - Cage is in corner of living room, not too much traffic, no tv or anything. Top is just above 7 ft up, very low ceiling.
Location - Central CA very dry area

Current Problem - Watching out for any problems, and trying to get humidity bump/better drinking leaves

Maybe not related to your issue, but I think you feed him too late. Try to feed in the morning and at noon, early afternoon. They are cold blooded and need enough time to digest food by consuming sun and heat. 6 pm is rather late to digest.

It stays in the 90s until about 9:30-10. Do you think it will still be an issue?

Don't know. But if you place him in a room with visual relation to the outside lighting, you will for sure confuse him with a late night light schedule. I would always time the lighting with the local sunrise/sunset. Only if they are completely indoor with no access to daylight (or any visual relation to it), I could imagine to keep the schedule off diurnal.

Ok, we will start him on a 6-8 light schedule and a 7am 12pm feeding schedule. Any ideas to set up a good drinking leaf? The vines I got either drip the water too quickly or dry quickly and it frustrates him to where he will use his tongue on drip tube. It seemed to have almost got stuck when he did this so I raised tube higher.
