Hi all,

I just wanted to stop by and say hello since I just joined the site. I'm a college student majoring in Conservation Biology. I hope to eventually work in herp conservation of some sort, but I'll be happy with any job in a relevant field once I graduate. I don't currently keep any chameleons, just doing some research before I dive in. I do keep and breed Dendrobatid frogs, however, and have for a few years now.

I'm looking into acquiring a pair of a pygmy species (more than likely R. brevicaudatus). Since I keep the frogs, I have a large amount of experience building vivaria and culturing small food items. I also simply don't have the room for an enclosure for a large species at this time. I'd like to expand at some point, but that will likely be when I have a more stable living situation and can settle down a bit.

Anyway, I'm going to continue reading here and learn as much as I can. Hopefully, I'll be successful and can eventually provide some insight into good husbandry myself.
