Introducing my chams

Hey all,
Some you kept saying to post pictures of my chams once they settled in. One I think is settled while the other just arrived today. But I couldn't wait so here they are...

The 1st pictures is my 5-mo old Ambanja sired by MAJOR from FL Chams. He was the one that came to me almost frozen.

2nd picture is my 3-mo old Ambilobe sired by Son Tiger from the one and only Kammers! I have a lot of respect for them in what they do. I was very impressed by Liddy in the whole 9 yards of preparing and receiving my chameleon. I highly recommend them. They are truly passionate chameleon breeders. By far one of the best in the game!
Thanks and hope you enjoy!

I have a sibling from Sun Tiger too!!! Just got him last Saturday...tiny little fellow..only 2 months. Liddy is great! Love the Kammers!

Hey Percues,
Actually mine is from "Son" Tiger, not "Sun" Tiger. I know, I got confused too. But they have two diff. chams with those names. Yours is more orange/yellow I believe. Mines should be more Redish. Both Sun and Son Tiger are beautiful. I was actually going to get a Sun Tiger but Liddy told me Son Tiger was more of what I was looking for. They have a new clutch from their sire Fire Hawk. He looks amazing too.

Nice collection you got there! Ditto on Liddy and the Kammers! They are the best!!! I have a Kammer Cham also!!!

I didn't get one from the "tigers" but from their sire "Devine Touch"....and I agree - they are awesome to work with and have excellent healthy little guys and gals!

Congrats! Gorgeous chams already! =)

Thanks you guys I really enjoy them. Carol, Perceus and Jandie; you guys have pictures of your chams from the Kammers?

I'm such a overprotective parent LOl its funny. I'm always playing around with the heater in my house to see what temperature works best (we're baking in here). And I won't let anyone in their room before 8am and after 8pm. *Sigh*
And yes Sensation, they are a handful....

I am trying to get some good pics without him turning black on me! Little guy gets so stressed :(. Guess its only been a week though. Do you have seperate cages for all you chameleons? You must have a jungle at home!:D

Hey Perceus,
Yes I have them in seperate cages. You know sometimes mines are dark. I think either when they are cold or when I'm around too much. But its hard not being around because there is so much to do in a day.I have a Mistking but I still handspray atleast once a day to make sure there is ample water so they have opportunities to drink (On top of a dripper that runs). I have holes that act as my drainage system on the bottom of my PVC board but there is still left over water that I have to clean up after every misting. On top of feeding, spot cleaning and making sure temps are good, I'm around a lot. And sometimes I feel that stresses them out. But they do eat in front of me, they just don't drink in front of me; And that causes me to be paranoid because their urates are tinted w/ orange. I have their enclosures side by side and the other day, I caught my older one gaping @ my little one. So I just put a block between them so they can't see each other. But I think the block stresses them out.
My point is, nomatter what I do to keep up w/ them, they're always going to be stressed. I will post pictures of my enclosure soon. There are fake plants, a ficus and pothos in each of their cages. However, I'm thinking of adding more foliage but am concerned that the new plant will stress them out LOL. Good luck and I hope he stops being dark. When you hold him (assuming you have a panther) does he lighten up? Post a picture I would like to see. What temps are your basking and ambient? Just curious...

Update on my Chams

I didn't want to start a new thread. This was actually inspired by PrettyinInk's thread; where she posted pictures of her Sambava cham as he grew. I decided to copy you :p (Thanks for the idea!) So here they are getting older. They both have gone through their 1st sheds w/ me. Colors are starting to really show. Here they are..
1st set of pictures is my Ambanja
The 2nd is my Ambilobe

Carol, Romeo is BEAUTIFUL! Very healthy looking cham. I can tell you take good care of him. I hope mines look just as stunning as yours.
