I am moving my 6 month old vieled from a medium cage to a custom built cage that is 2 feet wide x 2 feet deep x 5 feet tall. I have to pathos hanging and a hibiscus tree, as well as biovines. I was wondering what thebest way to introduce yager ( my chameleon) to the new cage? any advice would help.

Pop him in and let him wander around? :)

Not too much else you could really do.

When you feed him, there's a decent chance he wont eat due to the new environment, so feed less to start with I'd say.

I think the best way is to open the cage and place him inside ;)

He'll act 'odd' for a day or two... maybe three or four... Might not want to eat at first... but being young he might just take in the new cage and not be bothered. Sometimes chams stress a bit and go off of feeding. just depends on the cham. I wouldn't move him back and forth from cage to cage though... this will be more stressful

ok i was just ondering how he would take the new cage and if he was to young for the change. and his eating thank you. just wanted to make sure
