Incubus' status as dehydrated: Update

So my panther Incubus have been so called dehydrated for weeks and I was about to piss myself yesterday when I saw his feces. Not good. Been orange for a while and he have been ignoring his dripper etc. On top of that he went on a hunger strike right after his vet appointment that lasted about little more than two weeks I believe with rare cases of eating like 1 cricket. In the end I got worried enough to force feed him twice to get his organs a kick back on track. I know force feeding is to advoid and the first time it didn't even pass a whole week before I did it which is way to early. Since he is my first cham and ofc a very precious family member I didn't want him to get any worse than he already was. In the end, was it worth it. I believe it was.
By now his organs are back on track and he is being hand fed without complications (If he gets the kind of feeders he want that say ;) ) I didn't post anything about his hunger strike but I did post about his drinking problems that was by far the worst. I changed my misting, poured warm water in the bottle instead of mid temp and sprayed my plants first en then my cham. His drinking reflexes would start and I could stand there for some minutes and let him drink from the mistings. Somethinges he hated it and climbed as high as he could, other times he could climb into position for a nice spray and you know what? Today I found a big surprise! (I am really just writing this whole post cause of his poop) This little white pellet! Finally he is getting better! Finally improvement! I am so happy for him :D

Summary: Incubus is now eating and drinking :p
Little fella got all puffy at the mobile phone, its scary you know, better get fat just in case

Good to hear! Amazing how well they train US to give them exactly what they want in the exact manner they want it (the warm water sprayed on plants until he decides to go into drinking mode). I love getting my chams to drink directly from a hand held syringe. It gives me some face time with them, they learn that I am really a source of good things, their hydration is easier to track from day to day, and sometimes I can sneak a little medication or supplement in that water if necessary.

Haha yes indeed, its fascinating! They are smarter than we think. Sounds lovely! Many good things in one :)
