If you keep up with my posts you will know that my husband just got out of the military and is going to school. We have been living in the back room of his aunt and uncles house, rent free, since November. You will also know that we've been struggling to keep Ringo, Starr and Freckles. Well I think today hit my breaking point. Jan. 27th was my hubby's last day in the military and we were receiving military til January 15th. Yesterday we had our last $140 in account. This morning a loan and car insurance came out at once and put us in the hole -$160.

We are suppose to receive housing allowance but it hasnt kicked in yet. Our tax return will probably be in at the last of the month. My mind is RACING! We have never in the last 8 years of knowing each other, 7 married, not had any money. Adapting to civilian life SUCKS! I keep saying that he should of never got out but he really had no choice in the matter.

Now my mind is racing and I keep thinking that if something doesnt kick in we are screwed. No one is hiring since the economy sucks so much. Husband is having issues with unemployment and cant get a check yet. I'm lost and dont know wht to do..... *sigh*

Congratulations to him getting out!

(not that its a bad thing to be in the service, but for him to have that behind him, and be out safe)

Now, get rid of all of your bills.
That will help tremendously.

Next, realize that financial stress is downright evil, dont let it effect you in to negative a manner. Acknowledge the situation, and start taking steps.

Id recommend moving north a bit, the economy in Amarillo for example is still thriving.

Good luck, take care...

Forget house move for now, this will cost money, yes?
I think you have good family. These must always be aware of your situation. I think do not ask them for help or maybe do ask them i don't know.
Then you have friends and friends is like family but you have chosen them so hopefully they are good as well. i will think some more.
