Im getting a New Pet

Im getting a Blue Tounge Skink this weekend. Im very excited. I like the fact that they eat what my crickets eat LOL. So I wont have to gutload special insets for him. I just gutload him lol. So any way you guys have any advice more me or tips?
Does any one eles own one of these?

I breed Northern Blue Tongues and soon Tanimbars and have pink tongues.

I love them. I feed mine lots of greens with high quality dog food. A pinky rat every now and then. They also love superworms. They are awesome pets we really enjoy ours.

The dude looks great! I can't remember the name of the dog food . My wife buys it but it looks like something a human can eat . Same stuff the bulldogs get mixed with their dry.

That means Sci-Diet if I buy it and Mighty Dog if the hubbie brings it home. Think I may just give the artics a try.

Haha, thats funny. Is that the brand yall recomend? What other brands are good? The current owner of my Skink is using organic cat food. But I would like to use dog food over cat food. But I guess it will be up to "Jeffory" to decide what he wants.

As for dog/cat food... it's a toss up. You do want a good protein though.

Jeffory Has Arrived

This is Jeffory, my new Blue Tounge Skink! The previous owner thinks he is a Irain Jaya and approxmently 18 months. And a male. What do you guys think? He is very sweet. He will ride around on my shoulder and set on the couch with us for hours.
