Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and type of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Location - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?

The glass tank will probally be ok as you are in Canada and the temps are colder.
If some Canadian forum members can pip in on how they make glass cages work that would help....I have only used screen cages.

Okay..sounds like you have a veiled. I'm worried about your husbandry, though. Get him that screen cage as soon as possible. Misting him three times a day is good, but make sure to mist him for 5+ minutes each time. His source of water should come from this misting. Get rid of the waterfall. They are breeding grounds for bacteria. Chameleons need to get their water from misting and you can use a dripper (http://www.bigappleherp.com/Zoo-Med-Drippers) to help, too.
You need to adjust your light schedule. 18 hours of light is too much. You should have lights on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours. Are you using a UVB tube light along with a heat lamp? This is absolutely necessary. You didn't mention it earlier, so your cham may be in seriously poor health...
And what are you dusting your crickets with? You need three kinds of powder like these: http://raisingkittytheveiledchameleon.blogspot.com/2007/12/supplements.html

I have kept chameleons and many other reptiles in glass cages over the 25+ years that I have been keeping reptiles. I live in Canada too and the closest I have come to using screened cages is cages that are glass on three sides (and the bottom) with a screen lid and door...and I am now moving away from them again.
Both glass and screen have advantages and disadvantages. I have no objection to people using either...but I do get annoyed when people say "get rid of that glass tank....you can't keep chameleons in glass cages".
Screen cages in a cold and dry environment means that the humidity is lower than I would like and that the chameleon spends a lot of its time sitting near the basking light to keep warm enough.
With glass cages you do have to be careful to set the lights up properly to provide airflow and you need to make sure that no water lays stagnant on the floor of the cage. Drilling a hole in the floor of the cage solves the stagnant water problem and placing the basking light on one corner (over actually) solves the airflow problem. The temperature in the summertime needs to be watched to make sure that the basking lights are turned off when it climbs too high.
As for the "wart"...a picture would be useful. There are too many possibilities to guess.
