ever since I’ve had him I’ve been thinking he’s had his eyes closed all the time but i moved him into the corner of my room and he will have his eyes open and when i walk in he will close them and sit still, it wasn’t him it was me this whole time

Maybe it is stress. Any pictures please? Is there any potential sources of stress in the area, or that he can hear?

Well since they are very close to deaf it probably isn't the screaming. However having a lot of traffic around them until they are more secure in their cage can create a situation where the stress shuts them down. If he is stressed to the limits of his endurance and health he might be only opening his eyes when he feels the vibrations of an approaching "predator" or the opposite only when he feels very safe.
I would give this guy some space and privacy. Tune up your husbandry and reduce the traffic in your room or drape off the cage so he doesn't have to endure all the goings on..

Should i stop hand feeding him for now?

Are you letting him eat off of your hand or putting food in his mouth because he's not eating?
If he's willing to eat off your hand that's ok but eyes closed during the day indicates stress, illness, low temperatures or too much light at night.
If you have to force feed him to keep him alive then that' what you do but try to minimize handling and stress between feedings.

He uses his tongue and shoots it out of my hand

This past month i haven’t really been supplementing when he had the shedding problem could that be why, or the last shedding problem i was more so focused on just getting him to eat i wasn’t thinking.

That's a good start. Just minimize the rest of his contact for now. It looks like you've been thru a lot with him already.
I suspect he came to you with some problems and is still recovering. He probably don't have a lot of reserves to deal with a lot of activity.
Get him back on track with his supplements he needs to catch up to continue healing and growing.
