Well my chameleon is almost done his shedding, so his appetite will be coming back, which is good because he hasnt eaten in three days! Last week (for the entire 7days) his diet was purely waxworms. The reason being is because my pet shop had no locusts. I was told by an expeirenced keeper to starve him for a few days so that when i feed him a locust he will eat it instead of eating a waxworm.
Hes a very healthy 3 year old veiled chameleon who is nice and active but three days is kinda a long time for him not to be eating, isnt it?
Also im thinking of moving his diet onto crickets because at my local shop the locusts are 10 for £2.50 (about $3.70) and the shops pretty far away so im going every week, you get much more crickets than locusts in a tub) ive only had him two weeks so these things are worrying me, thanks for looking.
