I need some help please

Hi all, I need some help please. Today i found a goose egg at the creek. It was definately abandoned, having being left in the shallow end of the river (Not completely submerged, only partially), Probably due to last night's rain or due to an animal moving it. It looks healthy, solid white and the stains on it are probably from the water and the dirt. I didn't clean it. Just wiped it dry and brought it home. I've set it up in an incubator (make shift)

Basically, the incubator is:

Plastic, with a 75W reptimoon bulb positioned about 2.5" away from the lid

It is on Hamster fluff, and the humidity is roughly around 50-70%

Dont know how old it is but a bunch of goslings have recently hatched so I will assume it isn't a fresh egg, and is probably close to hatching.

The temperature is holding steady between 97-100 degrees F

Any help on care, raising one, etc. I've looked online and only found information with formulas and stuff. I don't-nor can afford forumlas. What would be a good mix of food. I do have a place to keep it when it gets bigger (we have a pond in our backyard that is fairly big). We can easily fence it off.

did you candle it to see if it is any good or alive?? A chill in water over nite would probably kill it if it was good. You will also need to rotate it several times a day if it is good.

What he said. Unfortunately if it was in the water it is very unlikely that it will be alive. Everything seems fine though if the egg is alive. Good luck!

Yeah, over night cold water? I know id die..if i was a foot sized.
It is most likely kaput bu nest of luck! Let's hope otherwise.
Follow dondeb's advice. Shuffle its position several times a day.

And i don't know if its true but you can place the egg against a strong light and see the fetus inside, and eve see it breathe or whatever... that is if its alive.

Mhm, I can only hope it wasn't in there for too long, it wasn't fully submerged. I dunno if it is from the egg but I've been hearing weird noises too. Maybe I'm lucky. I dunno. I've rotated it once today. Will do so now. Tried candling it, dont have a powerful enough light. Still:)
