Awesome!! Its the first word that comes to mind, Awesome!!!! The second is what kind of chams do they have on the main land? Or can one guess where he is by the look of cham. LOL Great looking panther nonetheless.

in Nosy be, to be exact and this past summer he had the opportunity to take a motorcycle trip on the mainland of Madagascar. Before he left I asked him, if the opportunity arose, could he take a picture of any chameleons he passed in his travels. This is what he sent me, and I thought I'd share!

All Panther Chameleons which are native only to Madagascar but recently introduced to Mauritius and Reunion, both islands about 540 miles off the coast of Madagascdar, are named after the geographical location they can be found. For instance, Sambava's are from Sambava, Nosy Be's from Nosy Be, Nosy Faly's from Nosy Faly...Ambilobe's from - you guessed it, Ambilobe! This rule of thumb is true for all species of Panther Chams! I would assume one who is a Panther Cham aficionado would be able to tell the locale of the Cham from its colouring & body structure!
