I hate ants

Got home today from being at supershow all weekend and dam ants were in my cages eating dead crickets

I'll second that! 6 Legged Demons! Slaughtered half of my cricket stock in a couple hours. Watch them too, they go after waxies and butters too.

BTW: Bounce sheets don't work. They were walking all over them for me.

they can be very determined when there is food around.
One way to protect your crickets is by setting somewhat of a fortress. Get a pan filled with water. Put some heavy object in the middle of the pan and put the cricket container on top of that object. So, the crix will be safe contained in the middle of the body of water. No ants will be able to cross it.

And in the bald a** prairie there's not many carpenter ants around mainly black ants
