I don't think he is drinking...

So I have have my blue veiled chameleon for a week now. I have only seen him drink water one time, I have a drip system that drops most of the day I also mist his cage right away in morning and once when I get home. How do I make sure that my little buddy is staying hydrated? Help..

Ive owned a veiled for 2+ years, Ive seen him drink maybe 10 times total.

The only way to know for sure is to check his urates and his turrets.

If his urates are a bright white- he is hydrated.

If his urates are yellow-orange- he is dehydrated.

If his turrets are sunken in, but his eyes arent shut- he is dehydrated.
