Last night I placed my order for supplies in anticipation of getting a chameleon on Saturday, April 27th! WOOT!! I only have some DIY things to pick up and I'll work on those projects over the weekend.

I have wanted one since I was 12 yrs old and saw my first chameleon in a mom and pop pet store in downtown Appleton WI. I won't tell you how old I am. (cough - have grown children). I had to wait but it will be worth it!!

I waited a long time to get back into owning these very special, and wonderful
little animals.
I had 2 jacksons and a flapneck many years ago, before the internet

(yes, there was life before YouTube!!) and was given all the wrong care advise from the pet store, so they died!

Now, I can get back into them because of websites like this with way
more confidence.

These forums are a wonderful resource and I'm glad I stumbled upon them shortly after getting chams a few years back.

I've read so much here that I had to cut and paste into my own document just to keep it all straight! Then I broke it down into excel and did cost comparison. This is an amazing forum and I feel so fortunate to have found it.

I'm heading to the MN Reptile Show in two weeks. I expect to come home with a baby. I know there will be some there. And I'm armed with knowledege gleaned here to make an informed choice. I'm leaning towards Veiled but a Panther may be in my future.
