So my male panther chameleon Costello hasn't been drinking very well for a while, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to hydrate him. A humidifier runs for 30 minutes every four hours, and I mist his cage twice a day with an exo-terra pump mister. I used to use a spray bottle with an orange tip that he recognized as water, so he used to follow it as I sprayed his cage. This mister is a bit more powerful, so I don't want to spray him in the face
. He also goes to the bottom of the cage often, and I realized that when he does it after I sprayed, he laps up the water off of the bare bottom. I was hoping you guys would have some suggestions for something that could give him water whenever he wanted, such as a rodent dripper or a water bowl mid-cage. Any suggestions on what to do to get him hydrated?
