Poor bug I handled him for a second to check out his foot. The black on his foot is all just dry blood.

That’s a relief. I hope his little toe heals up quickly and doesn’t give you or him any problems

Same. Should I try and clean it a little with saline solution?

I wouldnt touch it. Personally id just keep it as dry as possible. If you keep it moist and not bandaged, well hes just walking around on sticks and even through it own poo. Its better to slow heal with a sealed dry scab vs fast heal moist with the possibility of infection.
