ok so my panther enclosure (2x2x4 DIY screen) is ready and stocked with live plants and I have my mistking going 5 min 1x in the morning and 3 min. 3x a day. This is the 3rd time I have moved the cage to a different spot in my house to correct the RH. Upstairs it was way too dry even out of the way of the heating vents and this mist schedule. I have now relocated it to the downstairs area where I didnt want to put it since I was afraid the temps at night would get too low. So far the lowest temp at night recorded on my digital hygrometer/thermometer was 57F (bottom) 60F (top) with 48% RH. During the day the highest temp/RH was 75F and 91% (bottom) 83F (top, basking). It usually is 75F w/80% (bottom) but I think it got wet today. My frustration is I cant seem to find a happy medium here since now its too humid
ugh...Anyway I guess my real question is what is the max RH and minimum temp for a 3 month old ambilobe panther, just wondering should I experiment with a ceramic heat lamp before he arrives? Thanks for any input and for reading
Maybe I should cut out a misting..?
