Remember the trick of rubbing the two batteries together to get extra power, it use to work for me

if not really sure but i talked to someone who have a UV meter and said that he can pull some extra life out of them...if assuming its like anything else that you use (i.ei rotating tires, tvs nowadays have the pixels that move slightly so your tv has a longer life)

Iam forever an optomist, there for i will try that idea one day and measure it with my UV meter (i hope it works like it does with the battery idea!)
