The type of chameleons you’re keeping come from two different habitats. Panthers experience temperatures quite a bit higher than Calumma parsonii cristifer. The average daytime high temperatures in say Ambilobe or Sambava are in the the mid 80’s to low 90’s where as the average high temperatures in Andasibe where Cristifer’s are found is in the low to mid 70’s. I don’t think it would be a good idea to keep Panthers in cooler temperatures than mid to low 80’s especially in summer. The Cristifer’s would probably do better with temperatures on the mid to low 70’s in summer. They come from quite different habitats.
