I hope this blog post can save a few babies. If I start breeding again I will probably extract the egg cluster whole along with the soil it was laid in.

Ideally get a scalpel for this. Blade #11 should work. They're cheap and you never know what else you'll use them for but you need to have it before the eggs start to sweat.
