How should I treat burn on chameleon?

My chameleon had a scab on his chest for a while, I originally thought it was a shedding scab but now it seems burned and irritated what should I do?

That’s a very unusual place for a burn. How long has it been there? I’m wondering if it might be some sort of fungal infection.

I want to say that’s been there nearly a year but it was never dark it looked like a shedding scab but just today I notice it look totally different.

Wow! That’s definitely more than just a random scab. I would have a vet check it out and maybe do a biopsy.
