how should i store a stool sample i have an appointment tomorrow evening and he was gracious enuff to lay one today ive taken them before but they were fresh

how should i store a stool sample i have an appointment tomorrow evening and he was gracious enuff to lay one today ive taken them before but they were fresh

put in a ziplock bag and refrigerate it (don't freeze it).
If he happened to poop in the morning or before the appointment, get the fresh one instead.
