How old is my panther?

I ordered him from FLChams and they said he was three and half months old. He was ordered on July 15th. I know hes an extremely fast grower as I have had a different panther that I bought at four months and have had three months and he is about 2/3rd the size as the first one.

Here is a pic of him I just took.

How long have you had him? Did you pre-order him in July, but just received him? I would guess that he is closer to 5-6 months at this point, but it can be difficult to say with young panthers.

In that case it sounds like he is about 6.5 months old. That also means that he and your other Panther are about the same age. If you got your other one at four months of age and have had him for three months, then he is only 7 months old making them VERY close in age.

The only true way to know the age is to ask the breeder for a hatch date. Any good breeder will know that info. Sometimes it a range of dates (i.e. 04/12/14 - 04/22/14).

I hope this helps.

Chameleons grow at different rates some grow fast some grow slow, and if the breeder said he was X old then add up how long it's been since you got him there your answer x+y. Nice looking cham btw

No way he is 3 and a half months old or congratulations, you have the world's fastest growing Panther chameleon.

I agree, more like 6 months or more.

They must have the hatchdate.

No they said he was 3.5 months old when I purchased him, but that was back in July.

This is why we are all confused. If they told you he was 3.5 months in July, why are you asking us his age? Simple math gives you that info. As I said before, he is about 6.5 months and nearly the same age as your other cham.

He is a good looking boy, BTW.
