How old do you think my chameleon is? and when..?

I bought Drake who is a panther Nosey Be (male) about a month ago. I was told he is not a year old yet but I wonder how many months? Also, when do you think i will start seeing his colors come out? right now I i've only seen sandy brown, green and black. Thanks

Could you possibly get a better picture of the tail base?
and maybe of it next to something for size comparison for an age guess

You need a picture from the side showing the tail base thickness, I'm no expert at all but IMO would say that's 100% female
