how much should a chameleon to cost

hello CF
so after thinking and being undecided for a few months i've finally decided to get a panther chameleon. I plan on getting it at a reptile expo coming to New York in the next few months, but i am wondering how much should i expect to pay ? i want a male of course, I have no interest in breeding and so far my favorite locale is probably nosy be or any other blue chamleon.

Depends on the breeder, but for a Male I would say look between anywhere from $200-$350 at the high end at the expo. Nosy be's are the more expensive I think, anyone correct me if I am wrong

I would agree, generally the really nice blue Be's tend to fetch the highest price. But as always it does depend on the breeder, and on the quality of their chams!

oh ok thank you, so i guess it's about the same as online then. no matter I'd still rather get one from the expo since i get to see the animal myself and also take pictures of all the other awesome herps.

everything depends,,,the breeder,age of the cham,,,ill say from $200 - $350,,,with luck u can get a pretty one for $250

Expo is an excellent way to buy a pet of any kind. Meet the people in charge get to see all aspects of the animal before hand.. and every stand brings there best game. And decent prices! I usually am allowed to go if I don't have access to money.. readily..
