how long to keep recessive female veiled with male

hi im just wondering how long do you keep them in the same cage together when the female is in the recessive mood just wondering for when i eventually breed thanks

You should know with in the first few moments after introducing the female into the males cage. The act usually happens immediately, veileds aren't shy. It may last for up too 15 mins or so. The female will let the male know when she is no longer receptive.

so that means after seeing them mate you can put him back into his enclosure?

Yes. separate them. Normally I keep mine in separate cages,when it's breeding time, I always introduce the female into the males enclosure.
