I will be getting the right screen cage in 2 weeksYes and right now he is in a tank but I only have had him for 3 weeks and they said (people here in n the forum) (because pet smart sold me he wrong tank) the tank would be okay for a bit! I have a uvb light and a heating light
Not the best picture, but looks ok. Check the back of the back heel and see if there is a little bump. If there is, it is a male. If you are not sure what I mean, post a pic of the back foot. Also a pic of your cage so we can make sure it is set up right for your chameleon. Do you have UVB light??
(24"L x 24"W x 48"H) This is the one I just orderedYou should get this http://www.diycages.com/collections...ducts/sc4-48x24x24-jumbo-vertical-screen-cage or if you really want to do it right and use money to wipe http://dragonstrand.com/product/large-atrium-enclosure/ or any of the other site sponsors
Thank you @LathisI think you're off to a good start. Once you get your new cage setup, it will be a much better environment for your cham. Unfortunately, the big pet stores are notorious for giving out bad information and selling people equipment that is not right for chams.
In the meantime, keep an eye on the temperature - it's very easy to overheat a tank like that without ventilation.
