How do you set up branches??

I'm wondering how everyone sets up their branches...are you somehow tieing them to the cage? Since my guys are not very heavy, I can easily put the sticks and vines in soil and manipulate them but eventually will need a better system. Ideas?

you can use pushpins and stick them through the outside of the cage through the branch or use zip ties or twist ties through the screen

I have used twist ties always because its super easy and they are the perfect size to fit through the screen without making a huge hole

I used the push pins and fishing line... I tied the fishing line around to the outside as an anchor and hot glued the knot... Works great and since its clear it creates the image of floating sticks oO0OoO0Oo000OooO0 spooky lol

I think using push pins is a great idea to use on the outside of the cage to secure branches...but don't use them inside the cage please! It wouldn't be good if the chameleon swallowed one.

i just find appropriate sized sticks and wedge them into the cage and it worked out perfect for me.

Thanks for everyones input...i couldn't really find how other people do it online. Of course tacks on the outside, I couldn't imagine somebody putting them in the cage...but people seize to amaze me. Thanks again :)

Pushpins: only as good as your strength. Pain to get in thick branches, but hold very well when they do.
Zip ties: excellent and easy, but keep everything in one unit which is problematic if your moving anything. Just make sure you clip the long bits :p

if you have a cage like DIYcages or lllreptile aluminum screen cages you can make a loop with the ziptie and put the branch through that and tighten it down...loosen the screws at the top of the cage on one side and wedge the long end of the ziptie in between the side and top of the cage to your desired height...tighten the screws and the side and top of the cage will hold it in place...trim excess...shoot me a pm if you have any questions

Sticks in Cage

I cut my sticks/Branches to just over the screen width and wedge them against the screen, they hold great. I do use zip ties to attach blendable vine and fake plant vines.

A combination of wedging them into the soil of the plant pots and little green food ties at the top. All seems stable enough and is dead easy to take apart to clean. :D

built my chams cage with multi braces to make the frame stronger as well as being able to house items on it.So i zip-tie my branches etc.. to the pieves of frame.I did this so i dont have to cut the screen, you can slide the zip-ties between the screen and the frame with them being so thin

When I had veiled babies I used thumb tacks to hold the branches in the baby cages.
